Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the stable operation and maintenance of TPS-SIMATIC systems, focusing heavily on automation technology and testing within an innovative software environment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, network, and system faults, replacing defective components, and performing new installations and expansions of modules within the Link laboratory network. A critical component of the job is conducting comprehensive firmware tests on S7 communication modules and new Link firmwares, including necessary regression tests, with meticulous documentation for release. The ideal candidate holds a degree or qualification in Automation Technology or a related field, possesses experience in system testing and SIMATIC systems, and is proficient in both German and English to navigate international project settings.
