Job Summary

This specialist role is crucial for the Statistical State Office of Saxony, focusing on the implementation of the double-entry bookkeeping statistics (Doppische Statistik) for municipal budgets, funds, institutions, and companies, specifically incorporating new income statement and balance sheet components according to the Financial and Personnel Statistics Act. Day-to-day responsibilities involve active participation in the organizational and technical preparation and execution of data collection for these new statistics. The specialist will also be responsible for data preparation, detailed evaluation, and conceptualizing the initial public release of the statistical findings. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant vocational qualification (such as a Bank Clerk, Tax Specialist, or Administrative Specialist) combined with professional experience in accounting or official statistics, and native-level German proficiency.
