Job Summary

The IP Manager will be crucial in coordinating the identification, evaluation, securing, and strategic utilization of Intellectual Property (IP) within a dynamic, technology-driven company serving the international automotive industry. Day-to-day tasks involve managing the invention and patenting process, conducting Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses and competitor IP research, and actively developing the IP portfolio for specific product groups. The role requires a strong technical background, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics, coupled with professional experience in relevant technical fields and IP management. Key qualifications include the ability to analyze technical inventions and convert them into protectable IP concepts, excellent communication skills, and fluency in both German and English.
