Job Summary

This role is for a Systems Engineer specializing in maritime technology, based in Hamburg. The professional will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing the performance of modern command and weapon systems at both conceptual and detailed technical levels. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive system concepts for maritime capability carriers, advising clients on current and future technologies and trends in command and weapon technology, and actively shaping the development of autonomous maritime systems. A core focus involves defining technical requirements for autonomous systems, considering military deployment scenarios, and developing innovative integration concepts for unmanned vehicles into existing system architectures. The ideal candidate holds a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, possesses experience in system analysis or development within the maritime or defense sector, and demonstrates strong communication skills in both German and English to effectively present project results and consult with clients.
