Job Summary

This critical role seeks an experienced Power Plant Unit Foreman to coordinate and supervise the daily operational flow of energy generation units in Mannheim, ensuring strict adherence to legal requirements and operating instructions. Key responsibilities include operating and monitoring complex plant systems from the control room and on-site, managing the start-up and shut-down of equipment, and coordinating necessary measures during disturbances, revisions, and safety clearances (Freischaltungen). The foreman is also responsible for personnel deployment planning, training, and instructing employees, and deputizing for the Unit Leader. Candidates must have a completed Power Plant Master qualification, extensive technical understanding of process engineering and electronics in production facilities, and proven leadership ability. Long-term experience in shift operations and proficiency in MS Office and SAP are essential prerequisites for success in this demanding environment.
