Job Summary
This role is for an experienced IT Support Specialist based in Nuremberg, joining a growing mid-sized company focused on planning, manufacturing, and commissioning steam turbine sets. The specialist will serve as the primary internal contact for all IT issues, providing 1st and 2nd level support across the organization. Key responsibilities include application support for standard Microsoft Office products, configuring and setting up notebooks and peripheral hardware, and maintaining user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and Exchange. The role also involves ensuring client systems are up-to-date using tools like PDQ Deploy & Inventory, and maintaining accurate IT inventory documentation. Candidates should have a completed IT qualification (e.g., System Integration), experience with Windows and Linux Servers, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
