Job Summary

This Specialist in Finance and Accounting role at the renowned Theater und Philharmonie Essen (TUP) involves managing critical financial operations for one of Germany's largest theater organizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling complex tax matters, such as VAT, foreign tax, and preparing annual tax declarations. The specialist will also manage detailed accounting related to ticket sales, royalties, and cultural rentals, covering invoicing, revenue accounting, and payment monitoring. A core part of the role involves general ledger postings, account reconciliation, billing third-party events, and assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements. Key requirements include vocational training as a Tax Specialist, excellent PC proficiency, and a highly analytical, structured approach to work.
