Job Summary

The Enterprise Communications Group is seeking a dedicated Security Systems Technician to join their team in the Lübeck area, focusing on future-proof telecommunication and security solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of security systems, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems (BMA), intruder alarm systems (EMA), video surveillance, and access control technologies. Day-to-day tasks involve mounting components, wiring, programming control panels, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards (e.g., DIN VDE 0833, EN 54). A key component of the job is on-site customer support, system instruction, and technical consultation. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical engineering or IT systems electronics, basic networking knowledge, and a commitment to high quality and safety standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the electrical engineering field (e.g., IT Systems Electronics Technician, Electrician for Energy and Building Technology) or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in handling security systems (e.g., fire alarm, intruder alarm, or video surveillance systems) is advantageous
  • Experience in fault diagnosis and resolution
  • Experience in system documentation and protocol creation
