Job Summary

This permanent public service position involves critical oversight and execution of municipal road infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing, coordinating, and supervising utility installations (such as broadband expansion) in public roads, processing excavation permits, and independently managing construction projects related to the structural maintenance and repair of public traffic areas. You will also be responsible for enforcing defect claims against utility companies and handling inquiries from citizens and political bodies. The ideal candidate holds qualifications as a state-certified Civil Engineering Technician specializing in road and trench construction or a Road Construction Master Craftsman. Success in this role requires strong knowledge of construction contract procedures (VOB), calculation methods, and proven expertise in road construction technology and project execution. Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and documented C1 level German proficiency are mandatory.
