Job Summary

This role involves serving as the crucial link between technical operations, project management, and clients in the medium voltage sector, focusing primarily on renewable energy installations like photovoltaic systems, transformer stations, and battery storage units. The Protection Relay Tester will execute comprehensive protection and functional tests on medium voltage systems, meticulously inspect protection relays, and document all results. Key responsibilities include commissioning protection devices and remote control systems, determining protection setting data, designing appropriate protective transformers, and analyzing measurement results to drive system optimizations. Candidates must possess a background in electrical engineering and be prepared for extensive travel across Germany, Austria, and occasionally Italy, ensuring all safety requirements are met and contributing to the reliable operation of medium voltage infrastructure.
