Job Summary
The University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD) is seeking a part-time Scientific Researcher/Doctoral Candidate to join the Heart Failure section within the Clinic for Cardiology, Pneumology & Angiology, starting April 1, 2026. This role is crucial for advancing basic scientific research within an international team, focusing on investigating new pathomechanisms and treatment options for calcified aortic valve stenosis. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting experimental animal models, performing molecular biological analysis of tissues, and actively contributing to the research group beyond the scope of one's own project. The position offers the opportunity for scientific qualification (PhD/Doctorate) and requires a strong background in natural or veterinary sciences, a methodical approach to fundamental research, and excellent communication skills in both German and English. Experience
