Job Summary
This role involves enhancing and optimizing an existing Microsoft Azure-based Business Intelligence (BI) solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding or implementing new data models in close collaboration with business departments, integrating various data sources using Azure Data Factory, and extracting relevant data for strategic decision-making. A key part of the job is making extracted data accessible via Power BI and supporting departments with data analysis and ad-hoc queries to improve information flow. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science or a related field, strong SQL Server knowledge, familiarity with Azure Data Factory, and experience with Power BI and ETL processes. Education
University degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience with SQL Server and SQL querying
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, including pipelines, datasets, and triggers
- Experience with ETL processes, potentially including Slowly Changing Dimensions
- Experience with Power BI, specifically preparing data for business departments
