Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated Scientist specializing in Bio-Polymer Analysis, focusing on developing and optimizing advanced mass spectrometry-based methods for diagnostic testing reagents. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing analytical procedures for structural protein analysis in complex matrices like body fluids, optimizing (U)HPLC-MS(/MS) and HPLC methods, and managing sample preparation workflows. The Scientist will also lead small teams, coordinate work packages across stakeholders, and be responsible for investigating and presenting results, creating SOPs, and maintaining analytical instruments. A successful candidate holds a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology with extensive hands-on experience in instrumental analytical procedures, particularly (U)HPLC-MS, and possesses strong fluency in both German and English.
