Job Summary

The Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG) is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer specializing in Water Supply and Waste Management (Tiefbau) to join their interdisciplinary team. This full-time, permanent position involves managing large-scale investment construction projects within the UNESCO World Heritage sites, focusing on the preservation and future development of historical structures. Key responsibilities include acting as the client representative (project steering), developing integrated technical concepts for maintaining complex water systems (drinking water, sewage, drainage, fire extinguishing, fountains, and natural/artificial water bodies), and creating specialized technical solutions for integrating engineering structures within protected garden monuments. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering (Water/Waste Management) and possesses strong knowledge of public law, construction regulations (VOB, HOAI), and relevant technical standards (DIN, DVGW). Experience in building maintenance and working with existing historical structures is highly valued.

Completed degree in Civil Engineering (Dipl. Ing., Bachelor, or Master) specializing in Water Supply and Waste Management.

Experience

  • Professional experience in water supply and waste management, civil engineering

  • Knowledge of the technical rules and guidelines (DIN, DVGW)
