Job Summary

This role involves developing and optimizing automated laboratory processes, specifically focusing on nucleic acid extraction and analysis, Sanger Sequencing, and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, establishing, and refining protocols on Liquid Handling Systems, particularly the Hamilton platform. Day-to-day tasks include providing technical support and training to laboratory users and ensuring the technical upkeep of the automated systems and associated third-party devices. Key qualifications include a degree in Life Sciences or equivalent technical training (BTA/MTA), strong technical aptitude, a service-oriented mindset, and excellent command of both written and spoken German and English.
