Job Summary

This role is for a Hardware Engineer specializing in drive systems, working with cutting-edge technology platforms like SINAMICS or CDP for a client in Chemnitz. The core responsibilities involve developing robust hardware solutions, with a strong focus on designing power supply solutions, particularly switched-mode power supplies. Daily tasks include conducting system commissioning, performing critical EMC measurements and type testing, implementing engineering changes, and ensuring their effectiveness. Furthermore, the engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation and manufacturing documents using tools like Teamcenter. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and possess initial professional experience in hardware development, complemented by knowledge of power and analog technology and practical experience with EMC testing and commissioning procedures. The position offers an unlimited contract and flexible working arrangements.
