Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Team Leader to manage and guide the IT Services team (Helpdesk & IT Services) for a major social services foundation in Berlin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and organizational leadership of the team, ensuring the efficient operation of the User Helpdesk, and managing incoming IT requests via calls and tickets. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating user support, managing the entire IT inventory lifecycle—from procurement and administration to the deployment and maintenance of end devices (laptops, smartphones, peripherals)—and organizing field services for external facilities. Key requirements include a degree in (Business) Informatics or a relevant IT qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), several years of professional experience in IT support/service, and initial leadership experience. The position also involves planning and implementing internal IT projects and optimizing service quality and processes, requiring strong organizational skills and a high degree of service orientation. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, or a completed IT apprenticeship (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Management Assistant), or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT Support / IT Service environment
- Initial experience in the technical or disciplinary leadership of employees
- Experience in participating in or leading IT projects
