Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Helicopter Electrician to join the Final Assembly Line (FAL) team for the NH90 at AIRBUS Helicopters in Donauwörth. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the critical installation and wiring of helicopter cabling, strictly adhering to engineering documentation and construction plans. Key tasks include integrating cable bundles and devices, performing retrofits, executing new installations, and conducting thorough troubleshooting and fault resolution across various systems. The Electrician is also responsible for maintaining the helicopter's accompanying technical documentation and acting as a point of contact for development, work preparation, and quality assurance teams. Candidates must possess completed vocational training in electrical systems for aviation (or related fields like Mechatronics) and substantial professional experience in electrical engineering, aircraft construction, and aerospace maintenance. This position offers a secure, permanent contract with the potential for direct employment takeover by AIRBUS, providing excellent long-term career prospects within a leading aerospace organization.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician for Aviation Systems (Aircraft Electrician), Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, or in Electrical Engineering/Electronics, or a comparable qualification.
