Job Summary
This role involves leading or executing the commissioning process for hydropower components, specifically focusing on synchronous and asynchronous generators/motors (rated above 1KV), including auxiliary systems, excitation equipment, and protection technology. You will also handle Balance of Plant (BoP-E) components such as switchgear, block transformers, and power plant auxiliary loads, along with their control and monitoring systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting during commissioning phases, ensuring adherence to quality and deadlines. A key responsibility is managing the handover of work packages and providing training to client personnel. The position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification with relevant professional experience) and strong proficiency in both German and English, coupled with a willingness to undertake extensive, long-term international business travel and site assignments.
