Computer Scientist / IT Specialist | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This challenging role involves acting as an integral part of the Metering Solutions team, focusing on the transformation and operation of the IT infrastructure. The specialist will be responsible for managing and advancing the server landscape, with a strong emphasis on operating systems within cloud environments, specifically Azure and/or Oracle OCI. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring the smooth operation and stability of the data management platform, implementing innovative solutions for efficiency, and maintaining web applications. A key component is designing and managing critical interfaces (file/webservice) to guarantee seamless data flow, alongside implementing established IT security concepts and conducting error analysis in network operations. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a related field, deep expertise in cloud server operation (Azure/OCI), strong Linux and basic SQL skills, and proven experience utilizing agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban to optimize workflows and manage projects efficiently. Fluency in German and good English skills are required.
