IMC Hochschule für Ange wandte Wissenschaften Krems GmbH
Job Summary
This role is a pioneering research position focused on organic and polymer chemistry within the 'POLYOLS' project. The primary responsibility involves the synthesis of new organic compounds, specifically stereochemically variable Inositol derivatives derived from enzymatically dihydroxylized aromatic compounds. Day-to-day tasks include the development and flexible design of complex multi-step synthesis sequences, followed by rigorous analysis and characterization of the resulting complex organic substances using techniques such as NMR and HPLC. Candidates must possess a completed Master's degree in Chemistry and preferably have professional experience in synthesis chemistry, particularly multi-step syntheses and dihydroxylations. The position requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently and goal-oriented, contributing to the development of innovative stationary phases for pharmaceutical separation and catalysis.
