Job Summary

This full-time Accountant role in Schweinfurt, situated within a medium-sized financial services company, requires a structured and detail-oriented professional to manage core financial operations. Day-to-day tasks involve reviewing, coding, and posting all ongoing business transactions, ensuring meticulous documentation, and independently preparing mandatory VAT pre-registrations. You will be responsible for managing the cash book and petty cash, processing travel expense reports, and generating annual interest certificates. A critical component of the role is handling complex regulatory reports to the Central Tax Office, including recapitulative statements (ZM) and capital gains tax reports. Furthermore, the successful candidate will actively contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements, specifically through forming provisions and analyzing expense and income accounts. Ideal candidates possess commercial vocational training focused on accounting and a strong affinity for numbers.
