Job Summary

This role is a critical position within the City of Sindelfingen's Building Management Office, focusing on electrical engineering for municipal construction and maintenance projects. The Electrical Engineering Project Engineer serves as the internal technical and coordination point for all electrical systems in city-owned functional buildings. Day-to-day tasks involve determining requirements, planning, tendering, awarding contracts, and managing construction for electrical measures, as well as acting as the client representative in major new construction and renovation projects. A key responsibility is ensuring compliance with municipal standards and interests while coordinating continuous inspections and maintenance of electrical and hazard detection systems (e.g., DGUV V3, VDE testing). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, possesses professional experience in planning and/or construction management, and has strong technical knowledge, including familiarity with VOB and HOAI regulations. Experience in building automation and municipal administration is beneficial, making this a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic public sector environment.
