Job Summary

This role involves supporting cutting-edge plasma physics research in Greifswald by ensuring the operational readiness and safety of highly complex electrical systems. The technician will be responsible for the commissioning, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in high-tech research facilities, including an intensive technical deployment phase during the first nine months. Key duties include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing complex electrical faults, and rigorously documenting all work processes to comply with technical safety standards. The successful candidate must hold a state-certified qualification in electrical engineering and possess a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. Collaboration with international research teams and the ability to conduct training and knowledge transfer are essential, requiring proficiency in both German (at least B1) and English.
