Job Summary

This role involves supporting and coordinating IT projects within the regional branch, acting as the primary point of contact for 1st Level Support across all IT topics for the Southwest branch locations. Day-to-day tasks include creating and monitoring 2nd Level Support tickets for external IT service providers, ensuring continuous availability of the branch's IT infrastructure, and collaborating closely with the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and their IT service provider (BWI). Key activities also encompass the installation of clients, peripherals, network components, and applications, alongside contributing to the IT department's reporting system. The ideal candidate must possess a completed IT vocational training or equivalent qualification, strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and IT system maintenance, and excellent problem-solving skills, coupled with mandatory readiness for business travel.
