Job Summary
This critical role within a pilot plant environment involves overseeing and coordinating the construction and deconstruction of plant components for various chemical products, particularly during new product introductions, in close collaboration with the operating chemist and process developer. The Technical Supervisor is responsible for the technical leadership of the operations team and the coordination of both internal and external craftspeople. A major focus is ensuring the technical maintenance of the entire facility, including executing repairs, maintenance work, and revisions. Safety is paramount; the role requires creating and revising safety-relevant instructions, conducting risk assessments, coordinating safety inspections, and issuing work permits. This position is ideal for a technically competent professional with extensive production experience seeking high responsibility and development opportunities in a leading international chemical company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologist (EFZ equivalent). Ideally, further training as a Technician HF (Higher Technical College) or Master Craftsman/Meister.
Experience
- At least ten years of professional experience in production
- Extensive knowledge of processes and requirements in a production-oriented environment
- Experience in handling infrastructure and production systems
