Job Summary
This role is centered on innovation within smart sensor technologies, driving the vision of Industry 4.0 automation. The Embedded Linux Firmware Developer will independently develop and refine firmware for cutting-edge 2D and 3D sensors utilizing image sensor technology. Responsibilities include developing hardware-near firmware components, implementing complex functions efficiently, and conceptualizing new technologies. A core function involves connecting and developing drivers and interfaces on embedded Linux systems, contributing significantly to the overall firmware architecture, and serving as a key contact for complex testing environments. The position demands extensive debugging, testing, and profiling expertise using specialized tools. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics, coupled with several years of professional experience in embedded Linux firmware development, and proficiency in C/C++, cmake, Git, and Jenkins. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
