Job Summary
This role seeks a seasoned System Administrator / IT Specialist to join a leading, digitally innovative company in liquid gas logistics based in Hürth. The successful candidate will be a technical all-rounder, focusing on infrastructure, applications, and data, actively driving the digital transformation of the company. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering the Windows server landscape (Active Directory/Azure/Entra), managing MS Exchange, MSSQL databases, and ensuring system availability and network security. A key focus will be supporting and developing MS 365 environments, data solutions using SQL/Power BI, and specialized logistical IT applications (TMS, Track & Trace). The position requires hands-on involvement in IT projects, including evaluating innovations in AI/Machine Learning for process optimization. Candidates must possess several years of professional experience, strong Windows Server and Active Directory knowledge, and excellent German language skills.

Completed vocational training or degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as a System Administrator / IT Specialist
- Experience in the administration of Windows servers and Active Directory
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization (Hyper-V)
- Basic understanding or initial practical experience in MS 365 Administration, SQL/Power BI, Logistical IT Systems, or AI/Machine Learning
- Profound knowledge in IT security
