Job Summary

This role involves serving as the backbone for the technical and process infrastructure of a leading German surveying and engineering firm based in Kassel. The IT Specialist will be the primary internal contact for all IT inquiries, handling everything from troubleshooting to comprehensive support. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, operating systems, and user access. A critical part of the job is the administration, monitoring, and continuous optimization of servers and networks, alongside managing systems like the telephone system and time recording, including Office 365. The successful candidate will also coordinate external IT service providers and actively contribute ideas for the future development of the company's IT landscape. This position requires a solution-oriented, hands-on team player with strong system administration experience and current knowledge of IT security and data protection.
