Job Summary
This critical role involves the real-time monitoring and control of high-voltage and medium-voltage power grids, including substations, for a major regional network operator in North Rhine-Westphalia. The specialist will be responsible for executing and coordinating switching operations across the network, collaborating with internal departments and external control centers. A key part of the job is coordinating and documenting fault clearance procedures, observing critical measurements like network loads and transformer capacities, and ensuring compliance with the (n-1) criterion for reliability. This position requires a qualified Master Electrician, certified Technician, or Bachelor's degree holder in Electrical Engineering with strong expertise in electrical supply networks and control technology, coupled with a high willingness to participate in shift work to ensure continuous, reliable energy supply.
Required Skills

Master Electrician (Meister), State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker), or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification.
