Job Summary
This Postdoctoral Researcher role is centered on experimental high-power laser physics, crucial for advancing fusion energy projects. The successful candidate will engage in hands-on laser development, system design, and optimization, specifically involving advanced architectures such as cryogenic lasers (Yb:YAG/YLF) and Optical Parametric Chirped Pulse Amplification (OPCPA). Daily tasks include conducting cutting-edge experiments and utilizing simulation and design software, including Python, Comsol, and CAD, to model and validate systems.
