Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the IT Infrastructure and Schools division within the Office for IT and Digitalization for the Enzkreis District Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring the coordination and delivery of IT services, and overseeing the IT Servicedesk, infrastructure, and school systems. Key responsibilities include optimizing IT infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency, planning and operating server, datacenter, and network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN/WAN), and managing telecommunication systems and data centers. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, extensive IT knowledge, and proven multi-year experience in team leadership, project management, and conceptual work, alongside deep knowledge of IT law, data protection, and cybersecurity to drive innovation and future viability.
