Job Summary

This full-time, permanent Data Engineer position in Baiersdorf focuses on building and maintaining a robust, scalable data foundation essential for advanced analytics, AI applications, and operational steering. Day-to-day tasks involve designing and developing Data Warehouse/Lakehouse solutions, connecting internal and external systems, and creating stable ETL/ELT processes. You will translate business requirements into technical models, develop automation scripts using Python or Node.js/TypeScript, and ensure data governance for a "Single Source of Truth." The ideal candidate possesses strong SQL expertise, practical experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse), Power BI, and version control using Git/CI/CD.
