Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and energy-driven professional to lead the Power Grid Control Technology department at Stadtwerke für Rheine, a modern and responsible utility company. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, coordination, and ongoing development of the grid control technology area, overseeing a small team. Your day-to-day will involve organizing and implementing all measures related to the planning, construction, and operation of grid control technology, including IT security for central and decentralized components. You will also manage system administration for the central grid control system and integrate new systems for controlling generation plants. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, network technology, or IT, coupled with solid IT and network operation knowledge, particularly within power grids.
