Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Materials Tester or Technician to join a leading German electroplating company with over 110 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the independent preparation and execution of physical analyses on coated new and failed parts, focusing heavily on damage analysis within electroplating and surface technology. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating results, creating final reports, presenting findings internally and to customers, and managing specific laboratory equipment (calibration, maintenance, and testing). Key requirements include a completed qualification as a Materials Tester, Metallographer, or Galvanic Technician, coupled with professional experience in materials testing. Deep knowledge in electron microscopy, X-ray spectroscopy, and tribology is essential.
