Job Summary

This role is ideal for a reliable and team-oriented professional passionate about structured routine work and modern instrumental analytics within a human medical diagnostics laboratory in Mainz. The core focus involves performing Gas Chromatography (GC) on human samples, such as blood and serum, primarily for determining the Omega-3 index, thereby contributing directly to preventive medical diagnostics. Day-to-day tasks include independent sample preparation according to defined protocols, operating, monitoring, and routine maintenance of GC systems, and meticulous evaluation and plausibility checking of measurement results. Candidates must hold vocational training as a CTA, BTA, Chemical Laboratory Technician, or possess a B.Sc. in Chemistry. This full-time position offers a secure, permanent contract, comprehensive onboarding within a dedicated six-person team, and the benefit of working without shift or weekend duties in a dynamic and expanding environment.

Required Skills

Education

Vocational training as Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or a B.Sc. in Chemistry.

Experience
