Job Summary

This role as Team Manager for Third-Party and Grant Funding involves leading a dedicated team of seven professionals responsible for the financial and administrative management of all external projects at the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. Day-to-day tasks include providing expert consultation to faculty and project leaders on funding applications, usage, and settlement, reviewing complex third-party contracts in coordination with legal services, and coordinating external audits by funding bodies. The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Administration, or Law, coupled with strong professional experience in public sector budgeting, finance, and subsidy law. Crucially, the position requires proven leadership skills, organizational acumen, and the ability to drive process optimization within the Finance department while maintaining high analytical and service-oriented standards. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a stable career path within a public research institution.

Required Skills

Education

Experience
