Materials Tester | Werkstoffprüfer/in (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for a certified Materials Tester to join the Quality department at Brandenburger Elektrostahlwerke GmbH, a steel production facility within the international Riva Group. The core responsibilities involve preparing, executing, evaluating, and assessing quality tests on various steel products, including reinforcing steel and wire rod. Day-to-day tasks focus on testing material for tensile strength and deformation properties, conducting mix-up tests, and managing material control within the production environment. Candidates must have completed vocational training as a Materials Tester, possess strong MS Office skills, and demonstrate a keen awareness of work safety, environmental, and quality standards. A critical requirement is the willingness to work continuously in a 3-shift system, including early, late, and night shifts, as well as weekends. Experience with destructive testing procedures and spark emission spectrometry is highly desirable for success in this demanding quality assurance role.
