Job Summary

This specialized role, based in Troisdorf, requires a skilled Electrical Technician to manage and execute high-voltage testing operations. The primary responsibilities involve the setup and preparation of complex test fixtures, ensuring strict adherence to electro-technical specifications and maintaining electrical safety within the test field environment. Daily tasks include conducting various high-voltage tests, such as AC/DC, lightning impulse, bending, and rain tests, followed by the detailed documentation and evaluation of results. The specialist will also support special, type, and customer testing procedures, perform fault analysis, and carry out necessary maintenance and minor repairs on testing and measuring equipment. Candidates must hold a recognized electrical qualification (e.g., in automation or operations technology) and official certification as an Electrical Specialist according to VDE standards. Ideal candidates will bring prior experience from industrial, testing, or high-voltage environments, coupled with a highly safety-conscious and structured approach to work. The position requires willingness to work in a continuous shift system.
