Join Siemens Mobility as a Service Technician specializing in Rail Control and Safety Technology, contributing to faster, safer, and more comfortable travel solutions. In this role, you will independently inspect, maintain, and repair various rail control and safety systems, focusing primarily on electronic components like signals, switches, interlocking systems, and level crossing safety systems, while also handling mechanical components. Day-to-day tasks include commissioning and decommissioning, autonomous inspection and testing of safety systems, performing scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting system failures. You will also be responsible for maintaining technical documentation and creating performance reports. The ideal candidate holds a completed vocational training in an electrical engineering field (e.g., automation technician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician), coupled with specific training as a Signal Worker/Mechanic and several years of professional experience in maintaining safety-critical rail systems. Required Skills
