Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a 150-year-old premium machine tool manufacturer specializing in large-scale metalworking machinery in Gießen. The core responsibilities involve creating detailed electrotechnical schematics and documentation using Eplan Electric P8, selecting appropriate electrical components, and integrating complex drive and control systems, specifically utilizing Siemens components (SINAMICS, S7, TIA Portal). A critical aspect of the job is ensuring full compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG and relevant safety norms (e.g., EN ISO 13849). Candidates must hold a degree or technician qualification in Electrical or Automation Technology and possess several years of experience in electrical design within the machine or plant construction sector.
