Job Summary
This leadership role involves taking full responsibility for a modern and high-performing IT landscape, ensuring the information security of the corporate group. The Head of IT will leverage technical expertise and leadership skills to design the structure, stability, and continuous development of IT systems, ensuring infrastructure, processes, and security operate seamlessly. Key responsibilities include leading the IT team, strengthening IT security in alignment with NIS2 and current standards, managing the IT budget, and overseeing the planning and implementation of new technologies in collaboration with the CIO. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, several years of relevant professional experience, and profound knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, and legal requirements (DSGVO, NIS2, ISO 27001). This position offers the chance to shape the IT future of a growing family business in the Hamburg metropolitan region.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a similar field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable IT leadership position
- Experience in leading and developing IT teams
- Experience in managing external IT service providers
- Professional experience with IT-Service-Management standards (e.g., ITIL)
- Knowledge of project management (classical and agile), ideally with certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, SCRUM)
