Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position in Stolberg, Germany (near Eschweiler) is crucial for maintaining the high quality standards of a market leader in pharmaceutical packaging components. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the final release testing of manufactured finished goods and raw materials, ensuring timely delivery to global customers. Daily tasks involve performing microbiological tests, including bioburden tests via membrane filtration, sterility tests using biological indicators, and germ identification based on morphological properties. A significant part of the role includes environmental monitoring of cleanrooms (ISO 5, 7, 8) and ensuring all documentation is compliant with GMP guidelines, DIN standards, and Pharmacopoeia requirements, utilizing both paper-based and digital systems like SAP. The ideal candidate holds a degree or certification as a Chemical or Biological Laboratory Assistant/Technician, possesses initial professional experience in a comparable role, and is comfortable working in shifts within a GMP-regulated environment. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good written and spoken English skills are essential for success in this international setting.
