Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Engineer to become a key figure in energy infrastructure by planning and realizing high and extra-high voltage switchgear and substations. You will be responsible for the primary technical planning and design of these facilities, including complex calculations (such as short-circuit and lightning protection), dimensioning, and construction documentation. A core part of the job involves creating detailed planning documents for installation teams and coordinating closely with customers and project management to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory frameworks. You will utilize advanced CAD software, preferably AutoCAD 3D or Primtech, for design work and manage project execution, quality assurance, and the review of external engineering services. This permanent, full-time position requires a background in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, practical experience in high-voltage primary technology planning, and a proactive, service-oriented approach to drive the future of energy technology.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (ideally with a focus on Energy Technology), or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering/Energy Technology, or comparable technical qualification in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering

Experience

  • Experience in planning high and extra-high voltage systems, especially primary technology (advantageous)
  • Professional experience in project execution and quality control
