Job Summary
This role involves supporting the engineering and integration of complex In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems within the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) group, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and seat design aspects through installation and aircraft delivery. The professional will provide advanced technical support to OEMs, airlines, and suppliers, taking technical responsibility for projects and products. Key daily tasks include on-site system integration support, performing mechanical and electrical reworks, troubleshooting aircraft system problems, and managing the timely replacement of defective parts. Candidates should possess an Associate's Degree or higher in a relevant engineering field, working knowledge of aircraft avionics, network systems (TCP/IP), and proficiency with Linux-based systems and engineering documentation. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, independent work capability, and clear communication in both English and German, offering stability and career growth within a leading aviation technology company.
Required Skills
Education
Associate's Degree or higher in Electronics, Avionics, Information Technology, or Engineering OR relevant experience
Experience
- Professional experience in high-performance electronics, avionics systems, or software-based systems (preferred)
- Experience providing technical support to OEMs, airlines, and suppliers
- Experience working with aircraft avionics and electronics
- Experience in system integration from project phase to aircraft delivery
