Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Service Technician specializing in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex railway battery systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed fault analyses, conducting capacity tests, and replacing defective battery cells. A key part of the role involves meticulous technical documentation and processing customer and production orders, as well as handling complaints directly in the workshop. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or electromechanics, coupled with experience in battery system maintenance and repair, ideally including fundamental knowledge of NiCd, lead-acid, and lithium-ion technologies. The position requires a high degree of safety awareness and the flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and varying locations, offering a premium job opportunity with planned permanent employment.
