Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position seeks a dedicated Signaling Electronics Technician to perform essential maintenance and testing on critical railway signaling infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include meticulously checking the setting parameters of signal circuits, switch drives, and track circuits. You will also conduct functional testing of lighting systems for switches and main/secondary signals, and verify parameters for level crossing systems, covering induction loops, lamp currents, barrier drives, and axle counting circuits. The ideal candidate possesses completed vocational training in an electrical engineering trade and either holds the Signaling Worker qualification or is ready to acquire it (employer-funded). Key requirements include strong problem-solving capabilities, a high sense of responsibility, the ability to make timely decisions under pressure, and enjoyment of working outdoors.
