Job Summary

This role seeks a Development Engineer specializing in the characterization and validation of Mixed-Signal ASICs, RFICs, and MMICs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, setting up, and optimizing measurement configurations for analyzing high-frequency and mixed-signal parameters, including conducting RF measurements on coaxial and wafer probes in the micro- and millimeter-wave range. Key tasks involve automating characterization measurements, data acquisition, and analysis using tools like MATLAB or Python, followed by meticulous documentation and derivation of recommendations for design and test development. This position requires strong expertise in RF measurement technology, handling complex measurement systems (VNA, SMU, Oscilloscope), and collaborating closely with design, test, and production teams to ensure performance goals and technological excellence are met. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Microelectronics, or a comparable technical education with a focus on RF technology

Experience

  • Experience in the characterization of semiconductor components (ASICs, MMICs, RF components)
  • Professional experience with measurement systems (VNA, SMU, Oscilloscope, Climate Chamber etc.)
  • Professional experience in automation and data analysis (Python, MATLAB or similar)
