Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a Test Field Technician to join a mechanical engineering company in Lauf an der Pegnitz. The core responsibilities involve hands-on testing procedures, including hanging test weights using appropriate lifting gear, performing assembly and dismantling tasks, and meticulously checking measured values against specifications. A critical part of the job is collaborating with skilled tradespeople to rectify any identified defects or faults. Candidates must possess prior experience in a test field environment, ideally within heavy mechanical engineering, and hold necessary certifications such as a forklift license and crane operator license. The position offers a permanent contract with the potential for direct takeover by the client, operating in a 2-shift system (early/late).
