Job Summary
This role involves serving as the first point of contact for all IT inquiries and disruptions, utilizing various communication channels including phone, chat, ticketing systems, and walk-ins. The IT Service Employee will be responsible for classifying, prioritizing, and documenting incoming requests. Key daily tasks include processing standardized disruptions using SOPs and a Knowledge Base, analyzing and resolving complex IT issues, and escalating problems to specialized departments when necessary. A core part of the job involves managing and supporting end-user devices (PCs, notebooks, mobile devices, printers, scanners), including handling hardware rollouts, returns, and exchanges (on- and offboarding). The ideal candidate must have completed vocational training in the IT sector or possess comparable knowledge, demonstrate strong communication skills, enjoy teamwork, and exhibit high service orientation and willingness to learn. This position offers a permanent contract in Ellwangen with good development prospects.
